PPF Calculator
Project your Public Provident Fund balance with annual contributions and yearly compounding.
About the PPF Calculator
The Public Provident Fund is a government-backed savings scheme with a 15-year lock-in, extendable in 5-year blocks. Contributions up to ₹1.5 lakh a year qualify for Section 80C deduction, and both the interest and maturity amount are tax-free — the coveted EEE (exempt-exempt-exempt) status.
Interest is compounded annually at a rate the government reviews each quarter. This calculator assumes your chosen rate holds for the full tenure.
Frequently asked questions
Can I withdraw from PPF before 15 years?

What happens after 15 years?
You can withdraw the full balance, or extend the account in 5-year blocks — with or without fresh contributions — while it keeps earning interest.
